Creating The Sympathy Bench
Here is a look at how we our team takes your ideas and turns them into a finished bench.
Send Design Ideas
To get started, email us your design ideas for the bench. This customer sent us a sketch of the bench, clip art and a requested powder coating color. Our artists will review your ideas and create a mockup.
Inspect Mockup
The sympathy bench mockup will be emailed to you. This gives you a chance to inspect the design and have any changes made. The bench will be sent to laser cutting once we get the green light from you.
Final Product
The bench is laser cut from a sole piece of metal and bent into formation. Arms and legs are welded onto the bench body and it is sent to powder coating. Lastly, the bench is packaged up and shipped to you.

Importance Of Sandblasting
Each sympathy bench goes through a three-step powder coating process that begins with sandblasting. Why start with sandblasting? It removes all impurities from the metal including rust and old paint. Secondly, blasting the metal creates a profile along the surface. Powder coating will not adhere to the metal without first being sandblasted.
Color Retention
Like how vibrant the purple powder coating is? It will stay bright year after year. Powder coat is designed to resist sun fade; even in extreme weather conditions.
