Design A Sports Themed Memorial Bench

Step 1:
Send Design Ideas
First, email smithsteelsales@gmail.com your bench request. Be sure to include any and all design ideas you have for the sports themed memorial bench. This may include: a sketch outline, portraits to add, inspiration from our passed work, etc. A mockup will be created using your ideas. You will have the opportunity to approve the mockup before moving on to the fabrication process.
Step 2:
Fabrication
Next, the sports themed memorial bench is sent to fabrication. This includes laser cutting and welding.
Why use a laser cutter? Laser cutting technology involves a focused beam that works with small diameters; allowing for intricate fonts, artwork, and other designs to be incorporated into the bench back.
Step 3:
Powder Coat
Last, the bench is sent to be specially sandblasted, primed, and powder coated. This three-step process is absolutely necessary to ensure the longevity of outdoor furniture. Powder coat protects against rust, corrosion, sun fade, scuffs, and peeling. As an added bonus, powder coat is available in a large selection of colors ranging from vibrant reds to classic blacks.

Bent Into Shape
The body of the memorial bench is cut from a single sheet of metal. It is then bent into shape. This process requires fewer welds; yielding a stronger bench.
Stainless Steel Foot Pads
Let’s start at the bottom, shall we? The bench feet are comprised of stainless steel. Stainless steel is a naturally rust resistant metal. Why is this important? If the bench moved and scrapes along the bottom, exposing bare metal, it will not rust. This prevents corrosion from creeping up the bench legs over time.
Fully Closed Welds
The bench is durably fabricated. Each weld is fully closed and ground down for a smooth finish.
