Buddy benches were created to eliminate loneliness on the playground and forge new friendships. How does the bench achieve this? If a child is lonely, they can sit on the buddy bench. Durable Bench Design
At Smith Steelworks, we manufacture memorial buddy benches that are designed to last. Each bench is cut from a single sheet of metal that is next bent into place. This allows for fewer welds; yielding a bench with fewer points of weakness. Our welds are fully closed to prevent moisture buildup.
Choice Of Inscription
Each buddy bench comes with the standard design along the bench back. You do, however, have the choice of name or other inscription underneath.
Stainless Steel Foot Pads
Stainless steel foot pads are used on the buddy bench. Since stainless steel is naturally rust repellent, it protects corrosion from creeping up the bench legs.

Memorial Buddy Bench Unveiling
This memorial buddy bench was created to memorialize for Mrs. Beck, a former school counselor. Her family and former students and faculty members were there for the bench unveiling. The bench will be act twofold. It will provide an area to honor Mrs. Beck and reflect on her life, as well as continue to bring students together and unify the school.

The memorial park and bench were dedicated November 4th, 2017 in Peccole Ranch. Cast into the concrete is a star for every victim that died from that terrible tragedy. Our team was humbled as we cut out each and every star and thought about those sweet lives that were taken too soon.
