Fallen Soldiers Memorial Bench
We send the warmest thoughts, prayers, and gratitude to our servicemen and women that fight to protect this great nation. Let’s never forget their great sacrifice; of their time, wellbeing, and sometimes, their life. How can we honor these brave men and women who laid down their lives? At Smith Steelworks, we create memorial benches to honor these heroes. The fallen soldiers memorial bench provides a space to pay tribute to their life, memory, and service.
Thank you to all of our military personnel.
“We are forever indebted to those who have given their lives that we might be free.” – Ronald Reagan

Custom Fallen Soldiers Memorial Bench
Each bench is laser cut from a single sheet of metal. All designs and artwork are cut directly into the metal bench. Names, portraits, symbols, and badges are a few examples of what can be added to the fallen soldiers memorial bench.
The Air Force Symbol, AFSC badge, member name, dates, and a quote were used for SSgt Rueben Gilbert’s Bench. When ordering, be sure to email any and all ideas you have for the memorial bench. You can also view past memorial benches we’ve created here.
Steps To Order
A Fallen Soldiers Memorial Bench:
Email Ideas
First, send the ideas you have for the memorial bench. Be sure to include the bench style, size, and design you are interested in.
Review Mockup
After receiving a 50% downpayment, our artists create a bench mockup. This will provide a realistic look of the finished product. It will be emailed to you for review, changes, and approval.
Laser Cut & Welded
Classic and Classic Arch Benches are laser cut from a single sheet of metal and bent into shape. Next, welds are used to attach the arms and legs. All welds are fully closed and ground down for a smooth finish.
Sandblast, Prime, Powder Coat
The memorial bench wouldn’t be complete without powder coating. First, the metal bench is sandblasted to a white finish. This removes impurities from the metal and creates a textured finish; similar to sandpaper. Second, epoxy primer is applied to the metal bench for weatherproof protection. Third, powder coat is applied to the bench and baked at 400 degrees. Finally the bench is packaged up and shipped directly to you.
Benefits of Powder Coating:
- Twice as thick as paint.
- Resistant to chips, scratches, and flakes.
- Chemically bonded for flexible, durable finish.
- Available in a variety of color options.
- Stays bright and bold year after year.
